At MK Weeden Construction, Inc. our Safety and Health core values help define our operational activities. We require accountability from every individual in our company, from the President through the ranks to the Superintendents, Laborers and Operators in the field… Safety and Health is everyone’s responsibility.

Regular Safety Audits

MK Weeden Construction, Inc. employees a full-time Safety and Health Manager that regularly audits our projects for compliance with our Safety and Health standards. The Safety and Health Manager is also charged with the responsibility of keeping all employees up-to-date on all company required training.

HazCom Trained

All employees are trained in Site-Specific HazCom (Hazard Communication) programs as they move from one project to the next. Our primary goal is ZERO lost time accidents and ZERO injuries.

Safety Mission Statement

Upon hire, every employee is given a safety orientation and is required to read, agree with and sign a Safety Mission Statement and each new hire is also required to take a UA as a part of MK Weeden’s ZERO Tolerance Drug and Alcohol Policy.

Additional Safety Training

The majority of MK Weeden’s employees are trained in MSHA, HAZWOPER, First Aid, CPR and ALL are tasked trained for each task that they are assigned to.
