Reach A, Phase 2 Remedial Action Project

This project consisted of excavating approximately 500,000 cy tailings-impacted soil from the flood plain of the Clark Fork River near Warm Springs, Montana, and haul and place the material in a repository approximately eight miles west of the project. We then replaced the 500,000 cy of tailings with clean soil from nearby borrow areas. Other miscellaneous work included 131 acres of clearing and grubbing, dewatering, 20,000 LFT of fencing, and 80,000 cy of vegetative soil cover.
